The First Baptist
Church of South Brevard came into existence in 1975 under the
direction and leadership of Pastor Dan Wade. The church met at
alternating facilities which included the Eau Gallie Civic Center
and the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church. Currently, the church is
building a new sanctuary that will expand to a capacity of over
1,000 people. The church has been blessed by God and will continue
to carry out the mission that it began over thirty years ago, which
is to spread the good news of the Gospel to as many people as it
can in Melbourne, in Brevard, in Florida, and throughout the
world.
